A restaurant that redefines elegance and fine detailing would be apt for ‘Kogobo’. The unique blue walls, wooden battened look, brick arched openings, the wooden trellis with vibrant seating colours and bold chandeliers create a timeless yet warm look. The metallic bar with a wooden log top at one end adds the warmth and glow to the interiors. Since the entrance lobby & restaurant had low ceilings, wooden trellis and exposed ceilings were incorporated to have a spatial feel. The entrance lobby has an earthy yet contemporary look with vertical greenery and retro furniture infused with warm lighting. The restaurant has blue wall tones with a flooring pattern in subtle play of greys. The terrace restaurant required a partly covered space, whereby solar panels were proposed on an aesthetically resolved steel structure as roofing to the terrace restaurant. Different finishes were given to flooring, lighting and youthful seating. Vertical greens flow from inside out connecting all the spaces. Local kadappa stone flooring complimented with grass, battened and green raised parapet wall for privacy blended with the starry lit rooftop bar. The design exclusively utilizes local stone, wood, brick to provide a cozy ambience. It’s a mix of modest spaces and the new boutique culture.
