Shemrock School is a playschool designed for the children up to 4 Years of age. The design showcases the Castle theme that eventually attracts every child to the fairyland who is the primary user of the building. We conceptualised moat and bridge on the entrance which adds-up to the excitement in the children. For the first time out of the house children in playschool, the moat was also conceived to add sense of security in psychological terms while they cross and enter the safe environs of indoor courtyard school building. As we enter, we reach the administration block which leads us to the Central Court around which four classrooms, stage and activity courts on split levels are strategically placed. All the interior walls are painted with bright and attractive colours and interactive artworks which keeps the children engrossed.
