This distinctively designed Toll plaza on Delhi-Jaipur NH 08 breaks all the stereotypes and sets a benchmark in the toll plaza industry. The comprehensive study of Rajasthan's vernacular architectural style and materials sets this plaza into a new design based on form, functions and need. The most intresting aspect of toll plazas is that it runs round the clock and houses a good number of employees, hence the design demands for spacious planning for operations on booths as well as office blocks. Due to the shortage of land availability in the vicinity of the Toll Plaza, the administrative facilities were proposed to be housed over the toll booths. The use of locally available and much famous Jaipur stone, recessed openings, louvers are all embracing elements of design that create a strong visual dialogue.
