Hospital design has evolved over the years to not only prioritize functionality and efficiency but also to create spaces that are aesthetically pleasing and comforting to patients and visitors. The elements that we ve choosen, the materials that we have finalised and the thought that dwells behind the execution in this hospital design aims to achieve numerous objectives. 1. Double height entrance lobby with curtain glazing facade: A double height entrance lobby creates a grand and welcoming first impression for anyone entering the building. It offers a sense of openness and spaciousness, reducing feelings of claustrophobia that can sometimes be associated with healthcare facilities. The glass panels allow an abundance of natural light to penetrate the interior spaces, creating a bright and uplifting atmosphere. 2. Contemporary facades: The use of contemporary facades in the hospital design indicates a modern and up-to-date approach to architectural design. Contemporary designs often incorporate sleek lines, innovative materials and a minimalist aesthetic. Such facades can help the hospital to appear more inviting and progressive, as opposed to the traditional and sometimes intimidating appearance of older healthcare buildings. In this design we embark on a fresh design vocabulary to reappraise the spaces of health care and medicine. 3. Sense of association and comfort to the public at large: This design in particular aims to foster a sense of familiarity and comfort for the general public. This can be achieved through the use of familiar and accessible design elements, avoiding overly institutional or clinical aesthetics. The idea is to make visitors feel at ease when they approach the hospital, reducing anxiety and stress associated with medical visits. 4. Soothing facade with the 'Plus' sign indicator: The use of a soothing facade with the 'plus' sign indicator serves a dual purpose. The 'plus' sign is a universally recognized symbol for medical facilities, instantly conveying that the building is a hospital. This can be especially helpful for people seeking medical assistance in emergency situations.
